Want to know more about our innovative treatment for Erectile Dysfunction?
*Can be used as a standalone treatment but recommended in conjunction with medical management.
After a comprehensive review and examination, we utilize advanced treatment techniques and exercise progression to address and improve the function of the neural and muscular systems involved in the pelvic floor including erectile dysfunction.
Manual therapy
For decreasing muscle tension and soft tissue mobilization.
Focused shockwave therapy
High energy convergent acoustic waves that stimulate the cells and the body’s intrinsic healing mechanism of stem cell proliferation and differentiation through a process called mechanotransduction. In Extracorporeal Focused Shock Wave Therapy, the wave is focused through a lens and transmitted into the body, up to a depth of about 4.7 inches, short treatment time, non-invasive, and results in a few treatments.
High Intensity Laser Therapy (Class IV 25w)
Laser therapy generates a photochemical response in damaged tissue by a process called photobiomodulation. This process stimulates healing on a cellular level by enabling cells to more rapidly produce energy (ATP) which promotes faster tissue healing and repair.
Electro Dry Needling
Reduces neuromuscular tension by direct manipulation and stimulation to reduce muscle pain, improve blood flow, and restore normal biomechanics. Treating the structure that is not allowing proper movement is the goal of Dry Needling. When properly applied, pain quickly subsides, and corrective movements are more easily adopted. Pain is also addressed with dry needling and all the other tools we have, because we know that proper movement will not happen when pain is on board.
Manipulative Adjustments
A manipulative adjustment is a manual therapy technique used to improve spinal and extremity alignment and function. It involves applying a controlled force to specific spinal or extremity joints, with a high velocity and low amplitude thrust. Manipulative adjustments aim to: realign spinal joints that may be misaligned due to injury, trauma, or poor posture, reduce pain and improve mobility, enhance nervous system function, restore proper nerve flow and reduce nerve compression.
Clients are also counseled on the importance of activity modification such as alcohol and tobacco consumption, diet and general exercise and their effects on the pelvic floor and erectile dysfunction.
Your initial visit will consist of a comprehensive exam and medical history review to determine your pelvic and penile function and any related impairments. Those results will be used to determine muscles, nerves, and blood vessels that may be involved and in need of treatment. We will then discuss our findings and develop a treatment plan for your pelvic floor/ED condition.
During the first 6 weeks you will go through treatment based on the plan that we established which will also include some exercise and stretching to be done at home. We will send your urologist a report of your progress at the end of the first six weeks
After your follow up with your urologist or pcp, if additional treatment is needed, your additional treatment may be modified based on the progress made to that point to maximize your recovery.
Insurance does not cover the procedures that we use to address your Men's health issues. We will gladly discuss our fees.
Men, we like to pretend everything down there is nothing that needs to be talked about. But, talk to your partner about it. Talk to your doctor about it. There are solutions to your issues, even if the blue pill hasn't seemed to make much difference.
